Ora Group Shares Inspiration from Cristiano Ronaldo

We’re all inspired by something or someone. The fact that we acknowledge those to be inspired by shows that hard work leads people to do great things. At Ora Group, we’re big sports fans, especially soccer or in the U.K. known as football. Football fans are all over the world, and we’re well aware of some of the greatest players on those teams. “Recently, we’ve been quite inspired by Cristiano Ronaldo — he’s become the 1st man to score over 100 goals in the European Champions League. He’s at the top through his work ethic. Personally, I believe that Leo Messi has a lot more natural ability than Ronaldo, but through hard work and dedication, I believe that Ronaldo has leapfrogged him,” says Obiora Shorinwa, managing director of Ora Group. A little background about Ronaldo according to biography.com Intro to Soccer: It was through his dad’s work as an equipment manager at a boy’s club that Ronaldo was first introduced to the game of soccer. By the time he was ten years old, he was already recognized as a phenomenon—a kid who ate, slept and drank the game. “All he wanted to do as a boy was play football,” his godfather, Fernao Sousa, recalled for British reporters, adding, “He loved the game so much he’d miss meals or escape out of his bedroom window with a ball when he was supposed to be doing his homework. That same year, at the tender age of 16, Ronaldo turned heads with a mesmerizing performance against Manchester United, wowing even his opponents with his footwork and deft skill. He made such an impression that a number of United players asked their manager to try and sign the young player. It wasn’t long before the club paid Ronaldo’s team more than £12 million for his services – a record fee for a player of his age.”

“Looking at his background, passion, and dedication — no wonder he is where he is at today. His work ethic and love for the game keeps him in the field. He loves it so much that he has become an influential figure for others to follow suit,” says Obiora Shorinwa of Ora Group. At Ora Group, our primary goal is to help ourselves, and our crew members inhibit the type of mentality and work ethic that Ronaldo has for himself. This is living proof that anything is possible when you set your mind towards a goal and accomplish it. The best things about Ronaldo is that he knows hard work has lead him to where he is, you can’t get anywhere without putting in work.

Ora Group respects and is inspired by Cristiano Ronaldo and hopes that all individuals striving for something they believe in find their way as well! Anything is possible with a good work ethic and positive strive.
