Ora Group Shares The Importance of a Challenge

Ora Group Shares The Importance of a Challenge

In our fast-paced industry and world, being able to bring ideas and creativity to life is phenomenal. “As a business owner, I know the feeling of seeing methods and strategies work. A lot of people assume that great ideas just happen and flow for successful entrepreneurs — that is not true, it takes a great amount of work to implement any idea worthy of progress. After much process, the idea finally becomes something and is able to work towards achieving a goal,” says Obi Shorinwa, CEO of Ora Group. At Ora Group we believe in challenges. We believe that the more problems an individual faces, the higher their chances of reaching what they want without settling. So many individuals settle for things they don’t quite understand out of comfort or fear. Fear is something we do not want to take into account at Ora Group; it’s a negative quality that most people use as their escape from reality.

One of the biggest mistakes people make is that they get too comfortable. Once you realize you’re comfortable, that’s when you need to move, hustle and do something about it the most! Growth occurs when you challenge yourself. Ideas arise from inspiration and inspiration happens with you’re genuinely learning and developing your mindset in diverse environments,” says Obi Shorinwa of Ora Group. The best part about this concept is that your innovative ideas will fuel you and you won’t want to be comfortable; it’ll bother you grasping the fact you’re in the same place as last year. “Challenges often push individuals to realize that they have potential,” says Obi Shorinwa of Ora Group.

Understanding that you have potential is the most significant realization and factor in success. Knowing that you are capable of greater things means that you realize your worth and ability. Many individuals waste years stuck in one place because of fear and comfort. At Ora Group we provide progression, and we provide confidence in a sense that you can do anything you set your mind towards. It’s essential for every single human being to understand their potential and know that they can reach the moon and land amongst the stars if not that. This is precisely why we promote this mindset of growth and change regularly, it inspires us and makes us move.

Ora Group Shares Ted Talks 'The Power of Passion and Perseverance’

Ora Group Shares Ted Talks ‘The Power of Passion and Perseverance’

“In the entrepreneurial world, it’s important to understand that passion and perseverance will take you to great places. It’s also important to understand that passion is something, that when combined with hard work, will lead you to great lengths of success,” says Obiora Shorinwa, managing director of Ora Group. In an interesting Ted Talks conference, Angela Lee Duckworth talks about the importance of this factor: passion and perseverance. She basically starts by mentioning that she took on a job as a math teacher in NY and she realized something after a while. She analyzed the difference between successful students and those that struggled.

Duckworth mentions, “Some of my smartest kids were not doing so well, and that got me thinking. The kinds of things you need to learn in seventh-grade math, sure, they’re hard: ratios, decimals, the area of a parallelogram. But these concepts are not impossible, and I was firmly convinced that every one of my students could learn the material if they worked hard and long enough. After several more years of teaching, I came to a much better understanding of students and learning from a motivational perspective. I left the classroom and started studying kids and adults in the psychological perspective in all kinds of super challenging settings. In every study, my question was: who is successful here and why?” We went to the national spelling bee and tried to predict which student would get far, and in all these different contexts, only one factor emerged: grit. Grit is passion and perseverance. Grit is having stamina. Grit is sticking with your future day in and day out for years and working really hard to make that future your reality.”

At Ora Group, we found Angela Lee Duckworth’s speech to be quite motivational. In the marketing world, grit is exactly what you need to push you to succeed. “Many individuals give up because they fear the future. They fear they won’t make it. But that’s when grit will set you apart. It’ll help you develop your passion into making it a reality,” says Obiora Shorinwa of Ora Group. We instill this mindset into all individuals at our company and hope that everyone embodies grit, not just for their goals but as a lifestyle to hustle in everything you do.

Ora Group Reviews Overcoming Failures & Reaching The Top

Ora Group Reviews Overcoming Failures & Reaching The Top

The most significant lesson one can learn when they are on their journey to success is that adversities occur and that is normal. It is entirely okay to see that things are not going as planned, or a job you wanted wasn’t what you got. Anything you go through, every experience will lead you up to your potential on one condition. That one condition is persistence. “When you are persistent, there is nothing that can stop you from being who you are and where you want to go. The biggest idea behind this is that you are not a quitter. Situations in your way have come up to push for failure, but you as a whole are not a failure because you persist,” says Obi Shorinwa, managing director of Ora Group.

Studies show that majority of individuals will fail trying to achieve their goals or reaching their dreams. This doesn’t mean that they will fail entirely, but something will be a struggle, that struggle defines you, changes you or it breaks you. Persistence isn’t about giving up, it is about changing yourself, your tactics, your abilities to reach that one thing you truly desire and trying again. “Most people will forget that every route has difficulties and the route to success is not a walk in the park. Many people assume that the biggest leaders of our time became a sensation overnight. No, it’s not true — that success took years behind the screen to build and it came up in front of the public only after all that hard work was put forward,” says Obi Shorinwa of Ora Group.

Our main advice to anyone who has a dream would be to push forward and accomplish what you love. Yes, failures happen. Rejection happens. But it should never stop you from getting what you want and what you desire. “Your ability to dream shows in itself that you’re capable of victory, but it’s only a matter of time, and you will achieve your goals and become what you see yourself as,” says Obi Shorinwa of Ora Group.

Ora Group Discusses The Value of Food, Exercise and Sleep

Let’s face it. We don’t always take care of ourselves. The most neglected thing in our lives would be health or exercise. “While it is hard, nothing is impossible when you truly care about your own well-being and especially if you want to achieve something,” says Obi Shorinwa of Ora Group. Having success begins with taking care of every aspect in your life. Individuals that understand this are sharp minded, creative and productive. “successful individuals make it their mission to take care of themselves while they are achieving their goals,” says Obi Shoriwa, managing director of Ora Group. Whether it is something you want to make happen or not, at some point you will understand that various studies indicate results with this are evident. There are many ways to take care of yourself, but three essential ones.

Healthy Food/Diet

Writing from the Harvard Business Review, Ron Friedman lays out the facts about how different foods affect work performance. He cites a study where participants reported “food consumption, mood, and behaviors over a period of 13 days. The participants who ate less high-fat meals and more fruits and vegetables were “happier, more engaged and more creative” than those who opted for high-fat, high-calorie lunches.” This goes to show the importance of eating a well-balanced meal.

Working out is just as important as eating well. Even walking 10 minutes a day can be counted as valid exercise.”We should all strive to be fit and healthy. Working out helps the mind and mood,” says Obi Shorinwa, managing director of Ora Group.

This is so crucial in our everyday lives. It keeps us alive, awake and ready to go after a good rest. Research indicates that sleeping well throughout the night has the key to reducing mental diseases such as Alzheimer.

Ora Group Spent Time At The Bahamas With Business Partners

Recently, we took an R&R vacation to the Bahamas with Business Partners. “The best part about our industry is that we get to travel and be in different environments. The impact of experiencing different environments in our lives makes us more innovative and strengthens our creative mindset,” says Obi Shorinwa, managing director of Ora Group.

There is a particular importance of relaxing and recuperating also. According to psychology today, Susan Krauss Whitbourne Ph.D. writes, “Among the many debates swirling through the nation’s circle of pundits each year, is whether nation’s leaders should take time off in the summer for their yearly recess. As it turns out, though it may seem that they’re being irresponsible, perhaps they’re doing the right thing. Everyone needs a vacation once in a while. Though the average citizen may not experience the kind of mega-stress of a nationally elected leader, all of us have our own home-grown version of job-related stress. We may face the burden of meeting tight deadlines, making crucial decisions, or managing the complexities of household demands. Our stress may also include the stress of being under- or unemployed. All adults have lives that are filled with some form of stress, even if we don’t truly acknowledge this fact. Vacations have the potential to break into the stress cycle. We emerge from a successful vacation feeling ready to take on the world again. We gain perspective on our problems, get to relax with our families and friends, and get a break from our usual routines.”

At Ora Group, we believe that relaxing helps charge the mind and body. It helps be creative in a sense that one feels energized, it helps us be alive and in tune with our surroundings so that when we get back to our regular routines, we have a fresh mindset. We’ve enjoyed the Bahamas with our business partners. It was exciting to see that all these like-minded individuals were spending time together as a crew, to make sure that their 2018 starts off right and fresh. Time and time again, at Ora Group, we’ve realized that taking a mini break or vacation from the everyday hustle is the best reason to make sure the next work spree is in focus and you’re mind is charged.

Ora Group International Reviews Ways to Stay Positive

Ora Group International knows that with every negative situation, there is light. With every tunnel, you will also find a light. Similarly, in the moment of any dark times, your goal is to not give up on your beliefs. Those moments are the ones that can make you the strongest or the weakest. “These particular times are when your optimism is being tested, and you need to convince yourself that everything will work,” says Obiora Shorinwa, managing director of Ora Group International. Our task at Ora is to make sure that we’re motivating and pushing individuals to do their best so that at their moment of weakness they are accomplishing a beyond their potential by just believing that they shouldn’t give up. Our representatives at Ora Group International have come up with three ways to help you stay motivated when you feel down. Our motto is never to quit.

The Moment Before Success

“The moment at intensity before you accomplish your goals when you are very close to it. This is when you shouldn’t ever back down. We have a certain urge to quit in this time before the finish line, but this is because that moment is where you will succeed. When you don’t feel pressure, the results don’t have the same effect. However, at your most stressful point — right after that is where the magic is,” says Obiora Shorinwa of Ora Group International.

Keep Calm

Keeping calm is the best way to tame the anxiety. The central aspect of understanding this negativity is by understanding yourself. This is essential for helping you develop yourself. Nothing grows without some hurdles. “The primary point is to understand that you need a clear view, you need the vision to see that you will grow once you remain calm,” says Obiora Shorinwa of Ora Group International.

Cut Out Your Fears

Fear for us is something we need to eliminate.  Understand that you’re going after something because you want to and it’s your dream. Make sure you focus on that thing and go after it, don’t be afraid to do so!

Ora Group Discusses How Working Smarter Beats Working Longer

“There is an interesting concept everyone should understand: Regardless of whether or not you are at a 9-5 or just in an opportunity with a bit more freedom, there will always be tasks to accomplish and checklists to be completed. By working smarter, you’re allowing yourself to accommodate towards more than just working longer hours. Working smarter not only makes you productive, but it helps you save time,” says Obiora Shorinwa, managing director of Ora Group. At Ora Group, we know the difference between working longer vs. working smarter. Our reps know that time is valuable, we won’t be wasting it by doing anything to reduce our mind and concentration. “Ora Group has come up with some tip to help combat this situation and work smarter, rather than longer,” says Obiora Shorinwa of Ora Group.

Small Breaks

“Studies and research indicate that naps are proven to help us feel more energized if the nap is 15 minutes long. Longer naps make us lethargic and fatigues, whereas smaller ones awake our energy. Taking a small break in silence clear the mind,” says Obiora Shorinwa of Ora Group.

Manage Your Time

Start setting a deadline for yourself and you will notice you’ll be more productive. Studies prove that when you’re on a timeline, not only do you work more efficiently but you get the job done as well. “We know that time is valuable and of the essence, so whatever it is from project management or new strategies — set deadlines for it” says Obiora Shorinwa of Ora Group.

Plan Before, Rather than Later

Planning ahead of time helps you feel more prepared. The night before, have your clothes ready, lunch ready and whatever necessary things you need for the next day. By doing this you save time, and you feel prepared for the day.

Ora Group Shares 5 Quotes for Self-Belief

“Belief in yourself can be hard. It’s difficult to believe that you are capable of great things. It’s all about mentality and mindset. Believing that your dreams are worth something and understanding that your ideas matter is the first step in being strong and holding true to your potential,” says Obiora Shorinwa, managing director of Ora Group. When it comes to making your life fantastic, there should never be a limit to what you can do as a person. Every move you make should determine your future for the better. “Everyone can be amazing the only thing standing in the way between success and failure is your mindset and negativity,” notes Obiora Shorinwa of Ora Group.

At Ora Group, we genuinely believe that self-limit can be overcome by feeding yourself with positivity and keep being creative. No matter what you want in the future know that it will happen when you put your mind towards it. “The most important thing to remember is that you are the root of your success and only you can make it happen,” says Obiora Shorinwa of Ora Group. Here are five quotes to help you defeat any self-belief and self-doubt, as well as start your day with positivity!

“One important key to success is self-confidence. An important key to self-confidence is preparation.” –Arthur Ashe

“It is confidence in our bodies, minds, and spirits that allows us to keep looking for new adventures.” –Oprah Winfrey

“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” –Ralph Waldo Emerson

“But failure has to be an option in art and in exploration–because it’s a leap of faith. And no important endeavor that required innovation was done without risk. You have to be willing to take those risks.” –James Cameron

“People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in their true beauty is revealed only if there is light from within.” –Elisabeth Kübler-Ross

Ora Group Shares “The Art of Leadership”

“Leadership isn’t a part-time job or something you pick up because there’s a knack for it. At Ora Group we believe that leadership derives from within. It’s an art form that many people don’t seem to acquire in a short span of time. We believe that everyone has the ability to become a leader, but only when they try to master themselves and see the best in others,” says Obiora Shorinwa, managing director of Ora Group. According to an article on Success Magazine by Craig Impelman, “The Art of Leadership” he writes about some wise words from Coach Wooden during UCLA Coaches Development Program in 2002. Wooden shares ideas from an essay by Wilferd Peterson “The Art of Leadership.” “Majority of these ideas that Wooden shares through Peterson’s writing are incredible. It really defines what a true leader should look like,” says Obiora Shorinwa of Ora Group.

Impelman shares,

Simply and plainly defined, a leader is a man who has followers. The leader deserves to have followers. He has earned recognition. Authority alone is no longer enough to command respect.

The leader is a servant. As the Master of Men expressed it, “And whosoever would be chief among you, let him be your servant.”

The leader sees through the eyes of his followers.

The leader does not say, “Get going!” Instead, he says, “Let’s go!” and leads the way. He does not walk behind with a whip; he is out in front with a banner.

The leader assumes his followers are working with him, not for him. He sees that they share in the rewards. He glorifies the team spirit.

The leader is a man builder. The more men he can build, the stronger the organization will be, himself included.”

These are just some of the words that Wooden shares in his speech (Peterson’s Essay). Ora Group’s favorite point that he says is that a leader is a man builder and working together. Many superiors just make their workers fear them and portray the notion that they work for the leader. “However, a true leader knows that working with your crew is the most productive and fun way to gain a healthy environment and tasks being accomplished,” mentions Obiora Shorinwa of Ora Group. A company without a good leader like a boat without paddles and at Ora Group, we know that each of our representatives are capable of leadership when they understand themselves and their positive abilities.

Ora Group’s CEO, Obiora Shorinwa, Made a Generous Donation to One Hope United

Founded in 1895, One Hope United stands for the development and care of children. Throughout the years the organization has evolved into many things. Foster care, clinical services, and child development, these are all part of their growing features. “This is all for the children. Giving children the room to grow and space to learn gives everyone an equal opportunity for their future goals. Many of these children have dreams they want to accomplish. This is the main reason why Ora Group supports One Hope United. We will always stand by those that have a dream and make sure that we can help in any way to progress them for their future success,” mentions Obi Shorinwa managing director of Ora Group.

One Hope United is an important charity because it values the aspect of children’s dreams. We appreciate that they created such a fantastic space for these kids to grow and expand further in areas of interest. Along with the many Early Learning and Child Development centers, they have an area that helps our youth also. “Their Youth Services program is something I found very intriguing. It’s an outreach and counseling addition that helps troubled young children and their families. This is important, the work that OHU does with children and youth kids. We will only grow with better and greater minds. These children are so intelligent, they just need the right direction and loving environment,” says Obi Shorinwa of Ora Group.

We’re really happy to have come across a charity such as One Hope United, not only are they proactive in the community but it’s all for the kids. “What’s a better motive than that?” asks Obi Shorinwa of Ora Group. It’s important to have these type of organizations in our community because they help us solve pieces of a puzzle. Sometimes the dynamic between kids and grown ups get’s dissolved within our society. We need to understand that children are the future. So whether a child is looking for a home or looking to seek help for personal problems, this is where One Hope United steps in and takes the lead as a superhero. We’re excited to have donated and can’t wait for their progress in the future.
